General FAQs

Frequently asked, honestly answered.

What is HomeIVF and how is it different from a traditional IVF clinic?+

HomeIVF is a fertility-care platform that brings most of the IVF journey to the comfort of your home. Consultations, medication delivery, daily injections and counselling happen at home, while only essential clinical steps such as egg retrieval and embryo transfer require a brief clinic visit.

What is the cost of IVF at HomeIVF?+

IVF treatment at HomeIVF starts from ₹1,50,000. Final cost depends on your protocol, medications, and any add-on procedures like ICSI or PGT. Our counsellors share complete, transparent costing during the first consultation.

How long does an IVF cycle take?+

A typical IVF cycle from stimulation to embryo transfer takes 4-6 weeks. Pregnancy is confirmed about two weeks after transfer through a beta-hCG blood test.

Is IVF safe?+

IVF is a well-established and safe procedure. Risks are minimal when performed by experienced specialists with close monitoring. Our team explains every risk and benefit during consultation.

How do I book a consultation?+

You can book a free consultation by filling the form on this website, calling +91-9958885250, chatting on WhatsApp, or downloading our mobile app from the App Store or Play Store.

Female FAQs

Frequently asked, honestly answered.

What tests will I need before starting IVF?+

Standard pre-IVF tests include AMH, FSH, LH, oestradiol, thyroid panel, ultrasound for antral follicle count, and basic infectious disease screening. Your doctor may add specific tests based on your history.

Is egg retrieval painful?+

Egg retrieval is performed under light sedation, so you don't feel anything during the procedure. Most women experience mild bloating or cramping for 1-2 days afterwards.

What is a good AMH level for IVF?+

AMH levels between 1.0-3.5 ng/ml are considered favourable. Lower AMH does not mean IVF won't work — it means your protocol needs to be personalised. Our specialists tailor stimulation for every patient.

How many embryos are transferred?+

Most cycles transfer a single, high-grade embryo to minimise multiple-pregnancy risk while maximising live-birth chances. In select cases two embryos may be transferred after medical evaluation.

Can I freeze my eggs for later?+

Yes. Egg freezing is a safe way to preserve fertility, especially before age 35. Our team handles stimulation, retrieval and vitrification in one streamlined process.

Male FAQs

Frequently asked, honestly answered.

Does male infertility really account for half of all infertility cases?+

Yes. Male factor contributes to about 50% of infertility, either alone or in combination with female factors. A simple semen analysis is the first diagnostic step.

What is a semen analysis and how long does it take?+

Semen analysis evaluates sperm count, motility and morphology. At HomeIVF you can choose a rapid 5-minute report option for fast turnaround.

What if there's no sperm in my semen?+

A condition called azoospermia can often be solved through surgical sperm retrieval techniques such as PESA, TESA, TESE or micro-TESE. Many men with azoospermia successfully become biological fathers through IVF/ICSI.

Can lifestyle changes really improve sperm quality?+

Yes — quitting smoking, reducing alcohol, sleeping well, managing stress, exercising regularly and avoiding excessive heat exposure can significantly improve sperm quality within 3 months.

Do I need to visit the clinic for semen collection?+

Where clinically appropriate, semen collection can be done at home with our discreet collection kit. Our team guides you through the process to protect sample integrity.
